- This position provides the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week, with the requirement to report to the primary NOVA Chemicals work location on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Employees can opt out of the hybrid schedule and will be expected to work Monday-Friday from the primary work location.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative professional to join our Procurement Technology Team as a Supply Chain Master Data Analyst. In this role, you will manage and enhance Vendor and Material Master Data within SAP S4/HANA, supporting key business functions such as Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance. You will work closely with stakeholders across NOVA Chemicals to ensure data quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
You Will Use Your Expertise To:
- Maintain and govern Vendor and Material Master Data in SAP S4/HANA.
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance with governance standards, and alignment with business needs.
- Serve as the data steward, ensuring correct data ingestion, maintenance, and resolution of data quality issues
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for master data and its integration across business functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement, digital transformation, and system upgrades.
- Support strategic sourcing by maintaining pricing agreements and related data in SAP.
- Monitor data quality metrics and resolve issues proactively.
- Provide reporting and insights using SAP and related tools (e.g., Spendscape).
- Support audits and internal control reviews related to master data.
- Contribute to the development of data standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Lead data readiness activities for go-lives, upgrades, and improvement initiatives.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or 5–7 years of combined education and experience.
- CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) through ASCM (Formerly APICS) would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S4/HANA, especially in Vendor and Material Master Data domains.
- Experience with data governance, quality management, and integration across business systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders through well-prepared communication platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ARIBA, Icertis, IntelliTrans GVP, TRACK, and Service Entry Sheets (SES) would be considered an asset.
- A background in or familiarity with technical environments (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, materials management) would be an asset.
- Experience supporting SAP data migration and system upgrades.
