This position will be in the following location: Joffre Administration – Red Deer, AB  

  • This position provides the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays each week, with the requirement to report to the primary NOVA Chemicals work location on Tuesdays through Thursdays. Employees can opt out of the hybrid schedule and will be expected to work Monday-Friday from the primary work location.

NOVA Chemicals, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is wholly-owned by Mubadala Investment Company of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

 

We are seeking an Administrator to join our Manufacturing West (MW) Business Improvement team located at our Joffre site in Central Alberta, near Red Deer. This role will report to the leader of the MW Business Improvement team and will support administrative duties and tasks for the Joffre site.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education with 7+ years combination of applicable post-secondary education and related experience
  • Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Drive, Teams and SharePoint are required
  • SAP experience would be considered an asset
  • Strong organization and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail with a low tolerance for errors
  • High level of customer service with the ability to professionally manage requests from internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to provide information and guidance to assist others in utilizing existing systems, processes and programs
  • Experience with file management electronic/hard copy
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety/Responsible Care®

Additional Information:

  • Relocation will NOT be considered for this position
  • Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience
  • This role may require ad hoc travel as needed
